This race would not have been possible without the support of our local businesses!

With their donations West Thurston Fire Association was able to host this race as a way to raise money as well as bring awareness to all the dangers emergency providers face on a day to day basis.

With the support of the Firefighters Cancer Support Network we were able to provide the public with the knowledge of all the dangerous chemicals and carcinogens that our emergency providers are exposed to in fire related emergencies. There are many dangers our firefighters face but many do not think of the consequences of continuous exposures they will encounter throughout their careers in the fire service.

With this race we are able to provide aid to local families as well as recognize and thank our emergency providers for their continued sacrifice as they place their lives at risk everyday. Men like Brent Strong and other fallen firefighters have given their life for their community, join us in honoring their memory in our 3K and 5K on January 21st, 2018!
